Intuit unveiled the launch of QuickBooks Online Advanced, a cloud-based solution designed for accountants and small businesses.
The company says QuickBooks Online Advanced can solve the problems of increasing complexity by making core business functions “easier, faster, and more secure.”
The new QuickBooks product is expected to include features such as custom reports, confidential data control and data recovery.
What’s on offer?
QuickBooks Online Advanced retains all the features of Intuit’s most popular small business software, QuickBooks Online Plus.
In addition, the product also includes a number of new features, including customer performance tracking, which will allow users to track and compare metrics with custom charts, dashboards, and layouts.
Users will also get improved saving of their work, with the new “Backup and Restore” feature that supposedly enables automatic and continuous backups all day long, helping users to roll back from errors.
In addition, Intuit also promises users better reporting and categorization tools under the new solution, allowing them to create reports from scratch, using custom fields to add 12 fields per transaction, which it says will allow customers to categorize and analyze their transactions in more detail.
QuickBooks Online Advanced will also include features that will allow users to control who can and cannot see sensitive data, allowing an internal accounting function to separate responsibilities, restricting access to internal payroll and accounting administrators.
Lastly, the solution’s Workflows feature will apparently allow users to set reminders for maturity transactions such as invoices, payments, or deposits, allowing business owners to notify customers when payments are received, as well as sending bills and invoices via set approval flows.
Intuit says additional product features will be added to the platform in the near future.
